Crashing plane

Plane Crash - Here is a story I wrote in response to a picture.

One long day this little boy called Jimmy who had super powers was walking along the path way when he saw lightning strike at the plane. He started to run. The plane was engulfed in flames.  He lifted the plane but the plane was too heavy. The plane smashed him to the ground. All the people in the plane survived. It was a good day for everyone except for the little squished boy. The boy died and they had a funeral.

I diden't poem

Last week we did a poem about what we didn't do in the holidays to show everyone how boring it is to read the same starter of a sentence.  Here is mine.

 

 

Old man describing

We are learning how to write to describe things well. The teachers gave us a picture of an old man and asked us to write to tell us what he looks like. They hoped we would use lots of adjectives, adverbs, nouns about parts of his face and maybe some similes or metaphors. Here is my work.

He looks like santa. He has  hairy, big eyebrows, blueeyes, baggie eyes, white hairs, white bushy facial

 hair, big bold patch. His hairs are falling out. He looks scary on one side and

normal the other side is like dead. He looks like he's been in jail for a couple of times.

He has a big nose with freckles. He looks like he is 89. His beard covers his entire  mouth.

Te Rehutai

This week we were excited to be learning a bit about The Rehutai, the Team New Zealand AC 75 that has been sailing in the Waitemata Harbour.  Here is my information.

The Peco Incident Animation.

In term one we red a book called the PECO  incident. we made a animation about  and it is about these two kids and the mum and dad + these two hippies.  they are travelling  and there is a bird flu and it is killing heaps of birds.  it and here it is

Rocket Work

I was waiting nervously for the rocket to arrive. 20 minutes later the steps were waiting for me. I put my white suit on and I put my fish bowl helmet on so I don't suffocate up high by the moon.  Finally I stepped on the step and walked to my seat and sat down and I controlled the rocket and I pressed the start button - starting in 321 blast off!! We shot up in the air. The other people there were waiting outside cheering, hopefully I would make it to Jupiter but I still had 2 days and 9 hours to go.  2 days and 9 hours later I landed on Jupiter.The doors opened for me and I was on the last step and then I was on Jupiter. I fell downa really big hole and   saw  this really big green group of little aliens. I stole a little UFO so I could get out of the big hole. Finally I got out of the hole because that hole was too small for the UFO  and then I got in the rocket went back down to earth. I live.

Colour poem

We wrote poems about our house colour. I am in red house.

environmental writing

We sketched our bean plants that we grew in class. We then wrote words around the outside to describe the bean plant. We had to use these words to write a piece of descriptive writing. We then cut out our picture and glued it on to your writing. Here is my writing.
